As part of Bristol Walk Fest, two walks will begin from Centrespace, both of which relate to map projects initiated by the Centrespace Studios.  The first, ‘Craft-in(g) Bristol’ explores the place of Craft in the Old City, both past and present.  The walk relates to a self-guided walking map that is currently being developed relating to historic trades and crafts in the city.  Illustrations from the map will be on display to view at Centrespace.
The second walk will follow the route of the original Saxon city wall, and relates to the popular Bristol Walled City self-guided walking map, which was created at Centrespace, and from which the Centrespace Walled City residency grew from.

The walks will be led by Professor of History at UWE Peter Fleming, who is (and was) instrumental to both map projects.
